SOS Children’s Village Visit

We recently announced our proud partnership with worldwide organisation SOS Children’s Village, most notably their Vietnam chapter. Our affinity with the country is no secret. We have employed hundreds of staff over the years from Hanoi and have a real love for the people, culture and work ethic. Our CEO Geo Janssens made the 12 hour trip to the capital city to link up with Operations Director Bao Tran, for a visit to the Dien Bien Phi SOS camp to speak with some of the children who will benefit from our continued support.

Meeting The Kids of SOS

The Dien Bien Phi SOS site is situated in a remote mountainous region of Vietnam bordering Lao and China. Famous for its French Colonial history, the area has a number of minority populations requiring aid and assistance. Jonckers CEO Geo was determined to see first hand how our support is helping the kids of this area lead more fulfilled lives.

Accompanied by his wife and Hanoi based Director Boa, the trio were escorted around the site and introduced to a number of the children and SOS team. Geo was overwhelmed by the welcome received and has stated how proud he is to be a part of such an amazing charity. The children really do appreciate the efforts of the SOS Village staff and the support we are giving.
