Position in the hierarchy:

The DTP Specialist is a member of the Production staff and reports to the DTP Lead.

Role and Goal:

Realize a wide variety of computer graphics and documentation tasks, i.e. manuals, graphics, posters, etc., dependent on client’s needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with documentation and graphic materials in various formats
  • Print and Online PDF creation
  • Multi-tasking through many projects
  • Using Adobe tools on daily basis
  • Work estimates, coordination

Skills:

  • Experience in DTP tools is needed – Adobe InDesign, FrameMaker, Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, PostScript and PDF creation tools
  • Knowledge of any localization tool (Trados Studio or another CAT tool) is an advantage
  • Knowledge of any Multimedia tool (Adobe After Effects, Premiere, Animate) is an advantage
  • File management (Total Commander, FTP client…)
  • MS Office
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at a time, prioritize and meet production deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team, coordination and cooperation
  • Strong focus on quality

  • English essential (reading, writing)
