Marc Jonckers, Founder and President
Marc has been active in the localization industry since 1986. Prior to forming Jonckers in 1994, Marc set up, developed and managed business services companies in Belgium on behalf of European private equity and venture capital investors. He holds a university degree in translation from the I.S.T.I. and a master degree from Solvay Business School (IADE). Marc's scope of responsibilities covers international development, innovation and strategic planning. He is also an executive and general assembly board member of LCJ EEIG, which Jonckers co-founded in 1999.
Jean-Claude Bodart, CEO
Jean-Claude joined Jonckers as CEO in 2001, coming directly from SCAM, a €100 million organization, focused on the agriculture sector. Previously to this he had spent many years managing at the Citibank 'Mergers and Acquisitions' department as well as holding financial management positions for some of the world largest auto manufacturers, including Toyota, Chrysler and Volvo. Jean-Claude holds a Masters in Economics from the renowned Namur's University in Belgium.
Sung Cho, Vice-President, APAC
Sung leads and manages the Asian & Pacific regional operations including major Asian markets of China, Taiwan, Japan, and Korea. Before joining Jonckers, Sung has extensive experiences on both service provider and client side, most recently as a country manager of Bowne Global Solutions Korea. He has more than 10 years of engineering & business experience both in software development and localization in Rivio, Network Commerce, Microsoft, and Symantec. Sung has Degree in computer science from University of Waterloo in Canada and a Masters from Sogang University in Korea.
Nic McMahon, Vice-President GM, US
Nic joins Jonckers as Vice President and General Manager for Jonckers US. With over 10 years experience in the US localization market. His most recent post, prior to joining Jonckers, was for SDL International, where he was instrumental in more than quadrupling SDL's revenue and developing from scratch the SDL West Coast US presence. Before entering the Localization Industry Nic established a $10m Value Added Reseller business and held management positions in Project Management and Procurement functions.
Jorge Estevez, Group Operations & Processes Manager
Jorge joined Jonckers in 1998. After holding several positions in the organization, he was appointed Group Operations Manager in 2005. Jorge brings more than 11 years of experience in localization engineering, project management and customer service. Jorge began his career in the localization world in 1995 at Microsoft in Dublin, where he worked as a software engineer. Before Microsoft, he was a software developer at the Royal Observatory in Edinburgh. Jorge graduated in Physics from Seville University (Spain) and holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Edinburgh University (UK).
Anthony Chatzifotiou, Group Vendor Manager
Anthony has been active in the localization industry for the last 11 years. He started his localization career with Xerox and since then has held various positions having worked for some of the big players in the industry. He holds a Master in Translation and a Master in Marketing. He joined Jonckers in 2001 and is responsible for supplier management and purchasing on a global scale.
