English Speaking Operations Manager – Mexico

Job Description – Language Professionals

We are looking for an enthusiastic, well organized and commercially driven English Speaking Operations Manager to manage our dedicated Operations Centre in Mexico. The office will due to open by January 2018, we require the Operations Manager to support us with the opening and finding a location. Therefore, relocation may be required.

The right candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the office, taking ultimate responsibility for staff management and performance, profitability and customer satisfaction.

Please note that Localization is essential to this role. We will NOT be accepting applications unless there is proven experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities
• Manage set up and growth of the translation centre
• Manage team, leading and enforcing KPIs
• Logistics management for the centre
• Budget ownership for the centre
• Together with Language Services Director ensure centre’s KPIs are met
• Proactively identify and solve problems
• Identify and document opportunities to improve processes and technologies

Required Skills
• University degree
• Experience in localization industry (at least 7 years)
• Experience managing localization teams at an LSP (at least 3 years)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A well organized, detail-oriented leader
• Analytical multi-tasker able to take the initiative
• Ability to work under d pressure in a fast paced environment
• Commercially driven
• English – level C1 or native
• Other languages a plus
